Jean-François Deroche has been Chief Executive Officer of Credit Agricole CIB Americas since November 2011, in charge of the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Jean-François joined Crédit Lyonnais in 1982. He held different executive positions in the Paris Region corporate network, and was a Senior Banker in New York and Boston from 1986 to 1990 before joining Clinvest, Credit Lyonnais' investment bank in Paris. From 1993 to 2003, he worked in Capital Markets in France and in Asia in various positions, notably CEO of Credit Lyonnais Securites Japan and from 2001 to 2004 as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets out of Paris.
Following merger with Credit Agricole, he was appointed in 2005 General Secretary for Capital Markets and Brokers then moved to New York in 2008 as Executive Vice President in charge of Fixed Income Markets Americas.
Jean-François Deroche graduated from l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and has a Law Degree from Paris University.
